I'm still working on the site, meanwhile:

Writer. I have worked in research and as an engineering designer, schoolteacher and journalist. As well as reading. writing and arithmetic, I like cooking, sailing, shooting targets and the wind. I have mucked around with most trades and mastered  little of a few. My computer skills are fragmentary - but I'm learning.

Married, my dear wife Susan has put up with me for nearly forty years. We live with two large German Sheps in ...aaargh!
